Faith Church seeks to serve people in all walks in life from young to old, seekers and lifetime Christians. Our ministries encourage connectivity between people so that we may become a strong community loving and supporting one another.
Children and Youth Ministries
Our goal is to give all people the tools to live as servant leaders of Jesus Christ in their homes, schools, workplaces, and neighborhoods and to equip all ages to share the love that transforms each one of us and our world. Christian Education at our church gives us the opportunity to be the faith community that studies, communes, grows, and serves. It is vital to our community of FAITH. The children remain at the center of all we do.
Child Care is provided for the 9:00 Fusion and 10:30 Celebrate Worship services. We can also provide child care for the Saturday 5:15 service and most other activities at Faith upon request.
We also offer Youth Group (Middle School), United Methodist Youth Fellowship (High School), Confirmation, and Appalachian Service Project--our youth mission trip.
Adult Ministries
There's always more to learn, and Faith has many opportunities for Spiritual growth among peers and friends. Topics and activities are as varied as the people who participate in them: from sports ministry to small groups, traditional Bible study to senior fitness.
Outreach Ministries
As a part of our ongoing mission to be transformed people who seek to transform the world, Faith UMC has a very active outreach ministry. From the cradle to the grave, all our ministries offer opportunity to give of time, resources, and of self to the outreach effort. In 2011, we committed 19.5% of our resources to ministries of justice and peace as we fed the hungry, clothed the naked, built homes for the shelter-less, provided school supplies for the underprivileged, and care for seniors and children alike in our community and throughout the world.
