Though things look a little different this fall, we still have many different groups and classes to choose from. Some are in-person, some are on Zoom, some are a mix of both.

Groups meet regularly, pray together, and discuss Scripture and/or faith issues together.
Tuesdays @ 7pm
A mixed-generational group and a place to talk about life and to grow in faith. We use a mix of videos and readings to guide our discussion.

On Zoom and with occasional in-person picnics
A multi-generational group focusing on relationships with each other and with Christ. While using Zoom, we will not be using any study series but will still meet to build relationships and help each other follow God.

Disciple Bible Study

In-person, outside under the church portico
A Bible study group that is currently starting a 6-week study on the Parables called, "Short Stories of Jesus," by Amy-Jill Levine. A fun group of theologically-diverse people engaging in respectful discussion and disagreement.
1st & 2nd Thursdays at 6pm
A safe place that offers connection, hope, and the experience of Christ to LGBT members, families and friends. Each week, we’ll have guided discussion and share life together as we seek to grow in our faith. This group is currently not accepting new member; however, if this topic, these issues, are important to you please reach out. We will connect you with a safe space.

Two groups! One on Tuesdays @ 9:30; one Tuesdays at 10:30
This group is dedicated to service within the church and the community. Even in this time of COVID, we look for ways to be of service. Participation in the two groups is interchangeable, and we'll also be trying some outdoor picnics this fall.
Monday Night Life
A women’s group that meets weekly to talk about life, faith, and to learn how we can grow closer to God. All studies are biblically-based, and this fall we'll be following the sermon series on Soul Care and using that as our discussion guide.

In-person in the South Sanctuary at the church
This class rotates through short-term Bible studies that will begin meeting on Sept. 10 to discuss themes that wed the Bible to current issues.

This fall, we'll be using a study written by a member of the group (Mary Ann Schmidt) and moving through the Gospel of John.

Hand Crafters is a craft group for Christian Fellowship as we work on our individual projects. If you work with fiber arts such as quilting, embroidery, knitting, crocheting, rug hooking or have some mending to do, please join us! If you paint, sketch, draw or scrapbook, this group will give you inspiration!

An adult group that meets for organized sports th other churches as part of the Champaign County Church Sports League. A great way to connect with others quickly and involves spring and fall softball and/or volleyball.
This recreational ministry includes spring and fall softball and volleyball. Schedule varies, but most games are on Mondays or Thursdays
