Making a Lasting Impact

Our annual gifts to Faith UMC help the Church further its mission:

Faith is a beacon of light, a center of faith and a refuge of hope,

sharing Christ's love abundantly with ALL people!

In doing so, we support our outreach mission, program ministries, care for the building upkeep and operation, and special initiatives.

An estate gift to the Faith UMC Endowment Fund will provide another avenue of giving that will offer a lasting impact after one’s death.

Estate Gifts are important to Faith UMC because:

  • Any gift amount, large or small, combines with the gifts of others to create impact

  • They provide financial resources generating income into the future

  • Gifts to the endowment fund provide supplemental financial reserves from which income is generated annually to impact positively outreach, program, and facilities

Estate Gifts are important to YOU because:

  • They provide a substantial gift to the church without impact on your day-to-day or retirement finances

  • There may be tax advantages which can be determined in consultation with your legal or financial advisor.

  • Your ministry impact is realized now and continues long into the future

Estate Gifts make you a member of the Faith Legacy Society:

  • This membership honors the donor’s commitment to God and your continuing support of the ministry of Faith UMC now and into the future

  • Membership in the Faith Legacy Society through an estate gift will be an inspiration for others to join in having a lasting impact in the name of Jesus through Faith UMC

  • It also provides the Church with an opportunity to recognize and thank people who have included Faith UMC Endowment in their estate planning.

You are invited to pray and reflect on how you can support Faith UMC through your estate planning.  The only other expectation to become a member of the Faith Legacy Society is to provide a written acknowledgement to the church of your estate gift which will be kept confidential.
