Ways  to Serve

Here are some ways to serve in, around and through Faith UMC!

Faith Food Pantry

The Emergency Food Pantry is a ministry of

Faith United Methodist Church and is entirely volunteer run.

Guests may visit the pantry one time per month - 

so that we may share with as many neighbors as possible.

Hospitality Volunteers

We need hospitality volunteers weekly at Faith Church to serve as greeters and to organize/serve during Sunday coffee fellowship.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

NHN is a "handyman" or home repair ministry of Faith UMC. 

​

The goal of Neighbors Helping Neighbors is to help homeowners with a physical and/or financial need in obtaining critical home repairs in order to keep them

warmer, safer, and drier.

Appalachian
Service Project

Faith has participated in ASP for 40 years! 

Each summer Faith Church youth & adults do home repair in the Appalachian mountains alongside the organization ASP.  

The ASP experience is one of stepping outside of comfort zones and bridging cultures and sharing and receiving God’s love.  

The real story is not the construction, although that is much needed and our youth are proud of what they accomplish.

The real story is in the personal stories of faith that they begin to write as they make homes warmer, safer and drier.

Local Partnerships & Outreach

Faith partners in ministry with many United Methodist and other local non-profit organizations to love our neighbors. 

Throughout the year we raise money, engage in local projects and much more. Serving is one way we live out our calling to love others.
